The Pali’s are made of soft rubber. However, they have the appearance of an expensive leather. The design features an air pocket in the heal bed. This helps to eliminate some of the stress on the calf of your leg and your back. The soft rubber will ‘mold’ to the shape of your feet while you wear it; as if the sandal was personally designed for you. When soiled, simply hose them off or throw them into the washer (Clorox may be used if desired-it will not hurt your sandals). The Classic and Bow styles have a bed of tiny bubbles in the arch area. These serve two purposes. First, they massage the bottom of your feet stimulating circulation and preventing fatigue and cramps in the foot. Second, they act as small ‘suction cups’, preventing the sandal from ‘flopping’ as flip-flops do. Best yet, the Classics come in an assortment of colors and are so reasonably priced, you will want several pairs. Though all Pali’s are considered unisex, the Bow has a wedge heel and a more feminine style.
